What is ROPS?

A roll over protection structure (ROPS) is a reinforced steel frame, installed in or around a vehicle, that increases the structural strength and integrity of the original frame of a vehicle, and increases the protection of its occupants.

In the event of a vehicle roll over, the increased strength and integrity reduces the amount of crushing and deformation of the cabin structure, protecting cabin space.

At Xpress Mining Services we individually design and manufacture the ROPS to suit both light vehicles, and larger dual cab and water cart style vehicles.

All our design are tested to the Australian Standard and installed in accordance with AS2294 and ISO3471.
